Shadows of Fear is seeking energetic and dedicated Scare Actors to bring our terrifying characters to life. If you love to perform, embody sinister roles, and have a knack for making people scream, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Portray assigned characters with conviction, utilizing physical movement, vocalizations, and improvisational skills to scare and entertain guests.
• Maintain character and intensity for extended periods.
• Work effectively in a team with other actors and operations staff.
• Follow all safety protocols and haunt rules to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Attend all scheduled rehearsals and training sessions.
• Have Fun!

Requirements:

• No prior acting experience required, but a strong desire to perform and entertain is a must.
• Ability to stand, move quickly, and perform physically demanding actions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in dark, loud, and potentially startling environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to evening and weekend shifts throughout the haunt season.
• A passion for Halloween and horror is a plus!
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• To ensure our fright-filled nights run smoothly, all staff members must be available to work every Friday and/or Saturday night throughout the season. These are our busiest nights, and your commitment helps us deliver the best possible scares to all our brave guests.

Pay: Starting at $10 – $15+ / hour, depending on previous experience and performance level during auditions.
